Another exam down..

June 13, 2006 on 9:09 pm | In Hyperactive |

..and just three more to go. I had my first Ancient Greek exam this morning (it’s about the 9th or 10th public exam I have done so far), and although I thought it was going to be difficult, it went much better than I had expected. I just hope I will be able to say the same for the next three!

Wish me luck.. And keep your heads up for those tutorials I promised - they will be here in a few weeks, once these blasted exams are over ;)

  1. Congrats on the exam. Now, if you could just find an ancient Greek to talk to ….. :)
Good luck with the remaining ones and I look forward to the tutorials.

  2. Hehe! Yeah.. Pity they’re all gone! Along with all the Romans - I finished my last ever Latin exam last week ;)

I’ve got French Reading tomorrow, which is a complete joke - so I’m not revising for that :D But, the downside is that I am still being set homework.. I have a 1000 word essay due tomorrow, and I’ve got an exam! That seems stupidly counter-productive to me.

The joys of being at school  ;)

  4. Haha! And I thought I was the only one I knew taking Ancient Greek. It’s a bugger of a language, eh? Wish me luck! I have my oral defense of my translation of a section of the Apology tomorrow! >_

  5. I know, Ray! Slightly unfair.. AND we get school exams as well about four days after my last public exam

Xierox - Ancient Greek is a right little bugger! The last exam I did was sections of Herodotus. Now I’m doing Book 21 (and Book 20 in English) of the Odyssey.. And THAT is a right *”£%^&*&! ;)

Hehe.. Good luck with the Apology! Sounds like another painful one as well.. And it’s an oral defence of it! I feel sorry for you :P

I’ll let you know how my French goes this afternoon ;)
